The participation of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority and 10 government agencies in the Cairo International Book Fair 2025 begins

The participation of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority and 10 national bodies began in the 56th session of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority, during the period from January 23 to February 5.

The opening witnessed the presence of the Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs, Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh Bin Eid Al-Hussaini and a number of officials, where he toured the pavilions of the participating Saudi entities to see the contributions they provide that contribute to highlighting the Kingdom’s efforts in enhancing the cultural movement.
The participation of the Authority comes Literature, publishing and translation at the Cairo International Book Fair 2025 as part of ongoing efforts; To enhance the Kingdom’s presence on the regional and global cultural and literary scene, raise awareness of the Saudi cultural heritage, and highlight the Kingdom’s growing contributions to the global cultural movement.
The participation aims to strengthen cultural relations and knowledge exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. And enriching joint cooperation in the fields of literature, publishing and translation, in addition to enhancing the presence of Saudi publishing houses and literary agencies in major cultural forums regionally and globally.
It participates In the current session of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, more than 10 government agencies are led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority and with the participation of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, the King Salman Academy for the Arabic Language, the Saudi Cultural Mission in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the King Abdulaziz Public Library, and the King Fahd National Library. , Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University, Prince Sattam University, Tabuk University, Hafr Al-Batin University, and the Publishing Society.
