"Sharjah Entrepreneurship 2025" Hosts more than 12 thousand participants

Sharjah, January 24 / WAM / The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 hosts more than 12,000 participants in its eighth edition.

Which will be held on the first of next February under the slogan “Where We Belong” at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.

The event will witness the organization of more than 250 events, including 45 workshops and training sessions designed to discuss various aspects of entrepreneurship, including business development, finance, mental health, and global expansion.

The “Sustainability and Quality of Life” area is one of the most prominent areas of the festival, which provides a space to highlight the importance of personal well-being and responsible business practices. It is sponsored by “Emaar” Properties and brings together more than 50 regional and international experts who provide inspiring visions and experiences through the “Tawazun” interactive platform that provides a program Enriched with 50 sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing the balance between personal life and work.

The two experts in transformation management, Caroline-Lucy Ulbrich and Melissa Yaqoub, will review practical solutions to the challenges facing the founders of start-up companies. They will focus on how to accept failure and invest it in promoting innovation and establishing work teams capable of withstanding the challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to see practical insights into wrong ideas. About the concept of failure, along with practical exercises to transform failures into steps that lead towards success. The importance of this workshop is highlighted in light of the results of studies that show that about 90% of startup companies fail, according to Forbes magazine.

This workshop also provides practical strategies for new graduates in the areas of job search, personal brand building, and professional communication, based on the most prominent challenges addressed in the report of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) and the American University of Sharjah, which confirms that 17% of the students surveyed aspire to become entrepreneurs. Business This session will help participants develop a roadmap for personal growth and career success and enhance their confidence in facing the future.

Dr. Adel Karrani leads a workshop that addresses practical methods for alleviating stress, enhancing the ability to adapt, and building a work environment that supports professional development. In light of global losses exceeding a trillion dollars annually due to depression and anxiety, this session confirms the importance of mental health in today’s business world.

During a workshop within the festival, Mohammed Saeed Al Mazrouei, an expert in this sector of the world of robotics, will present the basic concepts of robot design, control systems and programming. Participants will also practice this information in a practical way through applied activities using special robotics tools.
