Conclusion of the march "Let’s live" To support cancer patients

Sharjah, January 26 / WAM / The activities of the fourth edition of the “Let’s Live” Walk, dedicated to collecting donations aimed at supporting cancer patients and survivors around the world, concluded this evening.

The walk, organized by the Friends of Cancer Patients Association in cooperation with the American Cancer Society at the American University of Sharjah, witnessed the participation of more than 3,500 people and volunteers.

Aisha Al-Mulla, Director of the Friends of Cancer Patients Association, said that the March for Live 2025, which was held under the slogan “Deserving of Life,” highlighted the importance of compassion, solidarity and advocacy and united families, survivors and supporters as they walked hand in hand in the March of Hope.

Al-Mulla pointed out that the march was not limited to collecting donations, which play an essential role in supporting patients, but rather it inspired the participants and raised awareness among them.

The march also organized 24 workshops, 15 of which were for children and 9 for adults in two separate areas, in addition to a group of events and activities, in addition to an awareness lecture on cervical cancer presented by the Emirates Health Services Corporation and a talent show presented by students from Sharjah schools and universities.
