Abdullah bin Zayed and Lavrov discuss by telephone developments in the situation in Syria and Lebanon

During a phone call today with Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed current regional developments, especially the situation in Syria and Lebanon.

His Highness and Sergey Lavrov also discussed a number of issues of common interest related to strategic relations and comprehensive partnership between the two friendly countries, especially in the cultural and economic fields.
