المملكة: Launching the “Maras” initiative to improve leadership practices for school principals in Jeddah

Today, the Director General of Education in Jeddah Governorate, Manal Al-Lahibi, launched the “Maras” initiative program, which aims to improve the leadership practices of school principals and enable them to lead the processes of evaluating academic and cognitive achievement.
This came during a ceremony held at the Student House headquarters in the presence of a number of educational leaders. The ceremony included a visual presentation that addressed the goals of the initiative and the mechanisms for its implementation.
Al-Lahibi explained that the Schools Empowerment Project is one of the most prominent transformation projects in the Ministry of Education, noting that the school is the basic foundation for improving the educational process.

She confirmed that the “Maras” initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of educational leaders to improve learning outcomes and improve educational outcomes. She also praised the efforts of the work team in managing the assessment of cognitive and skill performance.
The first day of the initiative witnessed a review of the “Academic Achievement: Requirements and Possibilities” theme, with a discussion of planning and follow-up to evaluate academic achievement. The initiative’s activities will continue tomorrow with a discussion of the topic “The Power of Data in Supporting Academic Achievement,” while it will conclude on Wednesday with a review of “Education Evaluation” and mechanisms for improving its outcomes, in addition to presenting the “Meraas” initiative plan.
