Ahmed bin Muhammad opens the “Arab Health Exhibition and Conference”

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy governor of Dubai yesterday, opened the activities of the 50th session of the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference, the largest and most important event in the field of health care in the Middle East region, with the participation of more than 3800 exhibitors, and its activities continue in the Dubai World Trade Center Until January 30.
His Highness praised the efforts of those in charge of preparing and organizing the exhibition over the past 50 years, during which it has turned into one of the most important international platforms concerned with designing the future of health care, stressing that His Highness is that the volume of regional and international participation this year, including the largest specialized names in this vital sector, is clearly clear On the position he founded as a major promotion force for the efforts to develop the health sector in the region and the world.
His Highness said: «The Arab Health Exhibition confirms the role of Dubai as a strategic engine for positive transformations affecting the vital sectors, the most important of which is the health sector. The field, and there is no doubt that the continuity of the exhibition for five decades, and its steady growth, is an indication of Dubai’s position as a global center to foresee the future of vital sectors and enhance its sustainability, in line with the vision of good leadership and its keenness that Dubai is always at the forefront of cities capable of facing challenges and transferring them To opportunities for development and excellence, and the introduction of the necessary solutions to improve the quality of human life.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during a tour that included a number of international and local wings participating in the exhibition, reviewed the participation of the pioneering event of major international companies, as His Highness was keen to stop at a number of wings to get to know what it offers from products and technologies Innovative solutions, His Highness stopped at the General Electric Wing and Canon’s suit, and continued an explanation about the innovative solutions they provide in the field of diagnosis and health care.
His Highness visited the pavilion of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, as he briefed on the transformational projects and services that embody its vision in developing the health sector in a comprehensive and integrated manner, contributing to establishing a leading, regional and global health system that supports the achievement of sustainable development goals 2030, and the tour also included the WHO of the Dubai Health Authority He listened to an explanation about the overall positive transformations witnessed by the health sector in Dubai.
The tour of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also included the exhibition, the wing of Dubai Medical City, where he was briefed on the most prominent achievements of the city and its projects, in addition to organizing a set of important dialogue sessions within the exhibition activities.
His Highness composed the platform «Emirates Foundation for Health Services», where he continued an explanation about the participation of the institution that reviews through the exhibition 19 services and an innovative project, including 13 projects that are unique in displaying it for the first time on its platform under the slogan “The Future of Health Now”.
The Foundation also specializes in its participation as a hub entitled “Family and Community Welfare”, which included three innovative projects, two of which are presented for the first time at the regional and global levels in close cooperation with its most important international partners.
His Highness the Second Deputy Governor of Dubai, during his tour of the exhibition, was accompanied by the Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al -Owais, and the Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai Al -Ketbi, Executive Director of Dubai Health, Dr. Amer Sharif.
The opening of the most prominent event of its kind in the region was attended by a number of Arab health ministers, they are: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Public Health in the State of Qatar, Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, and Minister of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Jalila bint Al -Sayed Jawad Hassan.
This year, the Arab Health Exhibition celebrates its 50th edition since its inception in 1975 by welcoming more than 60,000 visitors.
With the participation of more than 40 exhibitors, the exhibition developed to become a recognized global event, and at the beginning the exhibition focused on displaying medical products, then achieved remarkable growth, as it is the 50 largest version in the history of the exhibition with the participation of international exhibitors who will reveal the latest innovations and technologies in the field of health care.
