1.9 billion dinars, the volume of tenders for 6.8 thousand requests

The total value of tenders and auctions supervised by the Tender Council until the third quarter of 2024 amounted to 1.925 billion Bahraini dinars, for 6,896 requests.

This came in the answer to the Minister of the Shura Council Affairs and the deputies to the question submitted by Representative Jalal Kazem Hassan about the total number of tenders and auctions since the beginning of the legislative term until now.

The Council recorded the value of tenders of 1.351 billion BD in 2022, and about 1.699 billion Bahraini dinars in 2023, while the value until the third quarter of 2024 amounted to 1.9 billion dinars.

The percentage of applications completed during 14 days or less, from the beginning of 2024 to the third quarter, has achieved 98% of the total received requests, compared to previous years, where the percentage reached 91% in 2023, and 88% in 2022. The annual report is currently being prepared 2024, and it will be published as soon as it is completed.
