The South Korean News Agency (Yonhap) reported that a fire broke out at the tail of a passenger plane on the international airport runway in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea, which led to the evacuation of all 176 passengers on board.

The plane of Busan Airlines, coming from Jimhai International Airport, southeast Busan, and heading to Hong Kong, was caught on the evening of yesterday, according to the same source.

“Yonhap” said that 169 passengers and seven crew were evacuated, without further information about the causes of the fire, and the firefighting service reported three slight injuries during the evacuation, and the fire was controlled about an hour after the accident.

The country witnessed the worst air disaster on December 29, when the Boeing 737-800 plane landed 181 passengers from Bangkok at Mawan Airport, and after seconds it collided with a wall at the end of the runway, and the fire caught, and the accident killed 179 people, while two survived. Only crew members.
