The death of 5 skiers in two regions in the French Alps

Five skiers died in two separate regions in the French Alps, local media reported on Wednesday.
In the Savoy area in the French Alps, four Norwegian skiers were killed in the Val-Seni area, according to the newspaper “Le Duvin Leber” and the “TF1” station, quoting the local authorities.
A group of seven skiers was on a tour outside the designated tracks when huge ice collapses were swept away of four of them.
Three bodies were recovered from the accident site, while a woman was transferred to the hospital in Gronopel via a helicopter, where her death was announced later.
In a separate incident, a Swiss skirt died in another ice collapse near Valinsin.
Le Figaro newspaper reported that the skirt was traveling with her father and brother when the collapse occurred, and her father escaped while her brother was transferred to the hospital for medical examinations.
The authorities in the Out-Savoy region issued a warning of the great rise in the risk of ice collapses.
It is noteworthy that the 55 -year -old Britain was died in the Mont Blanc region on Tuesday after an ice collapse.
