"Health and community protection" It announces the unified national platform for health licenses

Dubai on February 1/ WAM/ The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the unified national platform project for health licenses in cooperation and integration with health authorities in the country, within the framework of its strategy to develop the regulation of the health sector in a comprehensive and integrated manner and enhance its competitiveness, flexibility and effectiveness.
The platform is characterized by a pioneering, innovative, and ejamous work model with its strategic partners and provides all services for licensing health professions, which contributes to reducing the effort and time for customers and improving their experience by unifying and reducing the procedures and requirements of licensing services and reducing the time period to obtain them.
The national platform targets the health professions of specialized competencies qualified in the health sector, including doctors, nurses, health technicians, pharmacists and specialists in the medical fields of support and technical cadres.
The platform works as an integrated digital system that achieves harmony in the governance of health professions licensing procedures. The work mechanism includes integrated registration for health cadres, managing and evaluating professional documents and qualifications, applying uniform standards for evaluation, accreditation and issuing a license for professional practice at the UAE level.

His Excellency Dr. Amin Hussein Al -Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Health Organization Sector, stressed that the national platform represents a pivotal shift in strengthening the health licensing system and unifying its standards at the state level within the framework of the Ministry’s commitment to developing innovative organizational mechanisms that keep pace with the accelerated development in the health sector and meet the needs of health services providers and health practices and fall Within the efforts of the Ministry to achieve its vision in building a world leading health system for a healthy society through an integrated governance based on digital data for all groups of society at the hands of qualified specialized competencies.
He said that this project is part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational procedures in the health sector and enhance facilities regarding the transfer of health professions between the federal and local government agencies and the private sector and aims to unify the criteria of licensing, simplify procedures and enhance integration between the various health authorities in the country, which contributes to ensuring The quality of health services and enhancing the competitiveness of the health sector, in line with the vision of rational leadership in building an integrated and sustainable health system.
Al -Amiri explained that the platform contributes to achieving mutual accreditation for evaluation between government health authorities, which in turn leads to policies of attracting and employing doctors at the state level and reducing the disparity in the level of providing specialized service to enable patients with health services with international standards.
For its part, Alaa Mansour, Acting Director of Licensing and Accreditation at the Ministry, confirmed that through the unified platform, comprehensive solutions will be provided to customers within an innovative business model, and health professionals licenses will be issued or renewed in proportion to the best international standards within the framework of the Ministry’s strategy to govern the governance of an integrated health system and the regulation of the sector Healthy and integrated healthy.
