"Dragon Oil" A achievement of success in the exploratory excavation work in the “East Crystal” well in the Gulf of Suez
Cairo on February 1 / WAM / Dragon Oil announced a new achievement in exploratory excavation operations, through its success in carrying out the first drilling operations in the “East Crystal” well in the Gulf of Suez, in cooperation with Gabco, while initial tests showed production exceeding 2000 Daily barrel, which reflects promising capabilities to increase production in the region.
The work teams continue to evaluate using the latest advanced technologies, with the aim of enhancing daily production to reach more than 5,000 barrels per day.
His Excellency Ali Rashid Al -Jarwan, CEO of Dragon Oil, stressed that these results reflect the effectiveness of modern exploration techniques in restoring the production of obsessive fields, which contributes to supporting the sustainability of production and achieving the maximum possible benefit from the oil fields.
He added that these discoveries enhance the Dragon Oil vision to ensure the sustainability of production for a period parallel to the contract period, with a focus on achieving a high -quality extraction rate, which contributes to enhancing the company’s position as a strategic partner in supporting energy security and increasing local production.
