Details of the participation of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority at the New Delhi Book Fair

Today, the participation of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority was launched at the New Delhi International Book Fair 2025, which will be held in the Praghati exhibition square in the Indian capital, New Delhi, from February 1 to 9, in the context of enhancing cultural cooperation between the Kingdom and India.
Through this participation, the authority seeks to highlight the Kingdom’s position in the global cultural and literary scene, and to enhance awareness of the Saudi cultural heritage, in addition to highlighting its contributions to the international literary scene, and supporting cultural and knowledge exchange between the two countries.

Participation also aims to enable publishing houses and Saudi literary agencies to be in major cultural forums, which contributes to supporting Saudi literary creativity at the regional and international levels.
The Pavilion of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority in the exhibition hosts a number of pillars that review its literary and cultural initiatives and programs, the most prominent of which is a translation initiative that highlights the Saudi translation movement, as well as sections dedicated to the King Salman International Complex for Arabic and King Fahd National Library.

Saudi novel

The authority also offers a diverse cultural program that includes six dialogue seminars that discuss literary and cultural issues and files, including the symposium “The intersection of the Saudi novel with New Delhi” that highlights the role of the Saudi novel in the Arab literary scene, and the symposium “The World of Arts” that reviews the role of arts in expressing Human creativity.
In the context of cultural events, the authority organizes a poetry evening under the title “A Journey in the World of Inspiration and Creativity” with the participation of a group of Saudi poets and intellectuals, in addition to the symposium “The Culture Industry” that discusses the production and distribution of cultural products, and Nidotti “The story is the spirit of content” and “Arab heritage “.
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom participated last year as a guest of honor at the New Delhi International Book Fair 2024, where various cultural sectors presented various programs and events that reflect the richness of the Saudi cultural and creative scene.
