His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidency Bureau, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Surur bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, opened Sheikh Sorour bin Mohammed Hall in the Archive Building and the National Library, which was devoted to documenting the march of His Highness Sheikh Sorour bin Muhammad Al Nahyan and his historical achievements.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed reviewed the contents of the hall, which includes written documents and documentary films that tell aspects of the biography of Sheikh Surur bin Mohammed, accompanied by the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless him.

The establishment of the Sheikh Sorour bin Muhammad Al Nahyan hall comes from the interest of the archive and the national library by collecting and preserving the country’s memory, and his keenness to collect historical documents and records as valuable national origins, in addition to historical personal documents that preserve generations with the aim of promoting the national identity, and ensuring the sustainability and enrichment of knowledge.
