Mohammed bin Rashid issues a law on organizing the emblem of the Emirate of Dubai and the Dubai Government

Dubai, February 5/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, may God bless him, in his capacity as ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, issued Law No. (1) of 2025 regarding the regulation of the emblem of the Emirate of Dubai and the Dubai Government.
The law stipulated that the Emirate of Dubai have its own slogan, reflecting its identity, civilization, values, principles, and directions, and determined the form of this slogan according to the two models (1) and (2) attached to the law, and stipulated that the Dubai government be its own slogan, drawn from the emirate’s slogan, And identify its shape according to the two models (3) and (4) attached to the law.

According to the law, the emirate of the Emirate of Dubai is the property of the emirate, and the slogan of the government is the property Its use as the emirate.
The law stipulated that the emblem of the Emirate of Dubai be used in places, occasions, editors and seals belonging to the entities determined by the President of the Bureau of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai in this regard, and no person without government departments, public bodies and institutions, authorities and government councils, and any other public authority affiliated with the Dubai Government may be used That the emirate of the Emirate of Dubai be used only with a special permission from the head of the Diwan or whoever is obligated, and that this use takes place according to the controls specified in this permission.
The law also stipulated that the logo be used according to the quality, requirements and specifications specified in the evidence prepared by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, and it is approved by His Highness the President of the Executive Council by a decision that is issued in this regard.
According to the law, any person is prohibited from using the logo without government agencies and other authorized bodies by using it in any way and in any way, before obtaining the permission specified in the law, and the use of the logo is prohibited for commercial purposes or with the intention of advertising and advertising for products, goods or Materials or tools, as well as assaulting the logo in any way, or using it in any way that leads to its distortion or prejudice to its value or position, and the use of the logo in any activity or event that is incompatible with the values ​​and principles of the Emirate of Dubai, or contradicts public order and public morals.
Everyone who knew of any person to any of the prohibited acts must inform the competent authority, represented in the Department of Economics and Tourism in Dubai and the authorities supervising the special development areas and free zones, including the Dubai International Financial Center, or the specialized judicial authorities, to take the necessary legal measures rightly Conduct it.
The law stipulated that with no violation of any more severe punishment stipulated in any other legislation, it is punished with imprisonment for a period of no less than three months and no more than five years and a fine of no less than one hundred thousand dirhams and not exceeding five hundred thousand dirhams, or with one of the two of the two penalties, each of the He assaults the logo in any image, or uses it in any way that leads to its distortion or prejudice to its value or position, or the logo is used in any activity or event that is inconsistent with the values ​​and principles of the Emirate The tools and preparations used to commit the crime.
The law obliges any person to use the logo on the date of the work of this law, not the government agencies or the authorities that have been declared to use the logo, including the slogan attached to Law No. (17) of 2023 regarding the slogan of the Emirate of Dubai, to remove it and stop its use completely, Within thirty days from the date of the implementation of this law, unless he obtained the special permission specified under the law.
The provisions of the penalties and penalties established under this law are applied to every person who commits any of the prohibited acts contained in it, through the use of the logo attached to Law No. (17) of 2023 regarding the emblem of the Emirate of Dubai. The Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai shall issue the necessary decisions to implement the provisions of this law.

This law replaces Law No. (17) of 2023 regarding the slogan of the Emirate of Dubai, and any text in any other legislation is canceled to the extent in which it contradicts the provisions of Law No. (1) for the year 2025, which is published in the Official Gazette and works from the date of its publication.
