Abu Dhabi, February 6 / WAM / His Excellency Muhammad bin Hadi Al -Husseini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, met His Excellency Maxim Orichkin, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau of the Russian Federation, who is visiting the state at the head of an official delegation consisting of representatives of the Presidential Court, the Ministry of Finance and the Russian Central Bank.
During the meeting, ways to enhance financial cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern in the framework of cooperation within the BRICS Group and the New Development Bank.
His Excellency Al -Husseini stressed the importance of strengthening international financial partnerships, saying, “These meetings reflect the UAE’s keenness to consolidate financial cooperation relations with international partners, in a way that contributes to supporting sustainable economic growth and exchanging experiences in the financial fields, and we look forward to expanding areas of cooperation with the Russian side and exchanging technical expertise , In a way that contributes to enhancing the efficiency of financial systems and developing joint initiatives that support innovation and sustainability in the financial sector.
