Wide participation in a race "Human brotherhood of running" In Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, February 7/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Humanitarian Brotherhood, organized the humanitarian brotherhood race to run on Al -Hudayriyat Island yesterday evening (Thursday) with the aim of supporting the principles of human brother Among the various members of society.
The race included a variety of distances, 1 km, 3 km, and 5 km, to suit and different levels of fitness and received impressive response with the participation of more than 800 individuals of different nationalities and ages.
The race provided an opportunity for contestants of all ages and sports levels to enjoy this distinguished experience and contribute to enhancing human values aimed at spreading peace and cooperation among all members of society.
His Excellency Ambassador Khaled Ghanem Al -Ghaith, Secretary -General of the Supreme Committee of Humanitarian Brotherhood, stressed that this event was held for the first time on the occasion of the day of the human brotherhood, which falls on the fourth of February of each year with the aim of promoting human values and deepening the spirit of brotherhood between individuals and societies, where the participants of all ages, nationalities and cultural backgrounds met, Overing the social barriers in an atmosphere of joy and loneliness expressing their solidarity with the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, describing the event as a real embodiment of the principles of the document of human brotherhood, which contributes to building a more consistent and tolerant society.
