Military industries
The minister visited the headquarters of the “Tata” group in Mumbai, and met the leaders of its companies “Tata Defeense”, “Tata Electronics Limited”, and “Tata Steel Limited”, and discussed with them ways to enhance cooperation in the military industries sector, aviation, electronics, iron, He also visited the Research and Technology Center at the Indian company “UPL”.

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the National Center for Industrial Development and the Indian company Ashok Leyland; In order to localize the bus, trucks and electric vehicles in the Kingdom.
During his visit to the four -day Indian Republic, the Minister was accompanied by a delegation from the industry and mining system, led by the CEO of the local content and government purchases authority Abdul Rahman Al -Samari, and the CEO of the National Center for Industrial Development Saleh Al -Salami, and the visit is in line with the targets of “Vision 2030” by diversifying the economy, and converting Kingdom to a leading industrial power and a global center for mining and minerals.
