North Korea condemned the arrival of an American nuclear submarine in South Korea, accusing Washington of ignoring its security fears, warning of its willingness to use any way to defend its national security.
The North Korea Ministry of Defense made these remarks one day after the American offensive submarine “USS Alexandria” from the Los Angeles category to the naval base in Busan, which is located about 320 km southeast of Seoul, is located to renew the supplies and rest its crew, according to the agency. In an official statement, a spokesman for the North Korean Ministry of Defense described the arrival of the submarine as “a clear expression of the continuous American hysteria for the confrontation with North Korea, and an undeniable threat to its security environment.”
The spokesman said that “the United States publicly ignores the security concerns of North Korea,” expressing great concern, and Washington warned to stop its provocations that destabilize.

The statement added: “Our armed forces are closely monitoring the repeated appearance of the American strategic means on the Korean Peninsula, and they are ready to use any way to defend the security of the state and its interests, as well as to preserve regional peace.”
The spokesman also pointed out that “the North Korean armed forces will do the deterrence of factors that threaten the regional security environment, and will not hesitate to exercise its legitimate right to punish the provocations.”
