150 million new jobs for the disappearance of 90 million due to artificial intelligence

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al -Rajhi, stressed that the concern of the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market is exaggerated, noting that whoever claims that artificial intelligence will eliminate human functions, he must clarify how this will happen.

Al -Rajhi, during his participation in the Arab Government Administration Forum within the agenda of the second day of the World Summit on Governments held in Dubai, said that the report “The Future of Jobs for the year 2025” is expected to contribute artificial intelligence to creating 150 million new jobs, in exchange for the disappearance of 90 million jobs.

A great gain for humanity

He added that artificial intelligence represents a great gain for humanity, as it contributes to supporting and empowering the completion of business, as it will increase the percentage of productivity by at least 40%, and added that the view of artificial intelligence must be positive, with a focus on how to benefit from it instead of fear of it.

It is noteworthy that the Global Summit of Governments 2025 is witnessing a record international participation by hosting more than 30 heads of state and government, 140 government delegations and more than 80 international and regional organizations, and includes 21 global forums looking at major global future trends and transformations in more than 200 major dialogue and interactive sessions, in which he speaks more From 300 international personalities of presidents, ministers, experts, thinkers and decision makers, in addition to holding more than 30 round tables and ministerial meeting, with the participation of more than 400 ministers, while the summit issued 30 strategic reports in cooperation with international knowledge partners.
