Sharjah free zones are looking to enhance Chinese companies’ investments in the emirate

Sharjah, February 12/ WAM/ The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and the Sharjah International Airport Free Region Authority discussed with an official delegation from the People’s Republic For international companies.

This came during a meeting of His Excellency Saud Salem Al Mazrouei, Director of the Free Zone Authority in Al -Hamriyah and the Sharjah International Airport Free Zone Authority, with His Excellency or Boukian, the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Al Mazrouei stressed that the economic and commercial relations between the UAE and China are witnessing increasing growth, noting that the free zones in Sharjah embrace more than 95 Chinese companies in various sectors, such as oil and gas, electronics, heavy equipment, and engineering, which reflects the increasing confidence by Chinese companies In the emirate’s business environment.

He added that Sharjah offers attractive incentives for foreign investors, allowing them to establish their business centers and industries easily in a stable environment and supported by integrated infrastructure.

For its part, His Excellency or Boukian praised the status of Sharjah, a distinguished cultural and civilizational center, stressing that the emirate provides an advanced investment environment that supports the growth of Chinese companies in areas such as heavy industries, advanced technology, and e -commerce, thanks to its advanced infrastructure and integrated services that facilitate investment and expansion operations.

At the end of the visit, the Chinese delegation toured the facilities of the Sharjah International Airport Authority and customs centers, and reviewed the services provided to facilitate customs clearance operations through modern digital technologies.
