The European Union and Canada are cooperating in facing Trump’s threats

In the face of the customs duties of Washington and its threats, the European Union and Canada praised the “friendship” between them and discussed Wednesday in strengthening bilateral relations, in the latest indicator to Brussels’s endeavor to diversify its commercial partnerships away from the United States.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held talks with senior European Union officials in the Belgian capital after US President Donald Trump imposed 25% on steel and aluminum imports.
