Al -Mansouri appreciated, during the first meeting of the Board of Directors after its new formation, the confidence of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. .
Al -Mansouri said, during the meeting held in his chairmanship and in the presence of Khalaf Al -Otaiba, Vice President, Abdullah Hayy Al Shamsi, Adel Al -Yaqoubi, member of the Board Asia in Iraq, the Asian Championship for Men and Women in Uzbekistan, the Islamic Solidarity Championship in Saudi Arabia, the World Championship for Men and Women in Norway, along with the Arab Championship for all groups, and the Asian Junior and Youth Championship scheduled for the end of this year.
He stressed that the plans and programs of the board of directors during the next three years are based on achieving the championships, stressing that the ceiling of aspirations is high in the champions and reaching the world, and achieving more achievements in the name of the team and the club, in coordination with the game federation.
He explained that the basis for development is to spread the game and pay attention to the junior sector, and to form players and refine their talents, all of which are our priorities in the next stage, as well as pay attention to other segments such as people with determination and providing special training programs to develop their weightlifting capabilities, in order to activate the memorandum of understanding signed between the club and the Zayed Foundation The supreme people of determination.
