A person was killed and at least 12 were injured, in an explosion in a store in Taiwan today.
The death toll is expected to rise with four people, “they do not seem signs of life.”

The accident occurred in the city of Tikong, and an firefight official reported that at least 12 people were injured.

The mayor of Tikong Le Chio-ANN told reporters that at least six people were injured, while six others were injured in a heart attack.

Rescue operations are ongoing

“I was in the city’s government building nearly 11:30 am, and because it is located next to the Shin Kong Mitsuchushi store, I felt shaken,” Lu said, adding, “The explosion is large and the rescue operations are continuing.”
A video clip showed the moment the explosion, posted on social media, showed the flying of cladding and debris from the building and the escalation of dust from the inside.
