Sharjah Chamber and Cote d’Ivoire are looking to enhance trade and investment cooperation

Sharjah, February 13 / WAM / The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed with a diplomatic delegation from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire ways to develop economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, which enhances joint investment opportunities and opens new horizons for partnerships between the business community.

This came during a meeting that brought together His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber, and His Excellency Fakaba Diabi, Ambassador of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire to the state, today, at the headquarters of the Chamber, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Al -Owais stressed the importance of the meeting in anticipating future opportunities and enhancing cooperation, noting that Cote d’Ivoire is one of the most prominent West African countries thanks to its strategic location and its escalating economic growth, reviewing the investment features provided by the Emirate of Sharjah, including the innovative facilities and services provided by the Chamber to support investors.

For his part, the delegation of Cote d’Ivoire expressed his country’s interest in strengthening trade and investment relations with Sharjah, praising the role of the Chamber in organizing economic forums, especially the Sharjah-Kot Dapewar Business Forum, which focused on the fields of trade, industry, agriculture and tourism.
