27 of the best players in the world participating in the Dubai Tennis Championship

Dubai, February 14/WAM/The Tennis Professional Association (WTA) announced that the Dubai Free Market Championship will celebrate its twenty -fifth version this year, through the participation of 27 of the 30 best players in the world rankings.
The championship competition will be held tomorrow, Saturday, with the competitions starting on Sunday, February 16th and will continue until the 22nd of the same month, before the 500 -point men championship begins in the Tennis Professionals Association tour.
The value of the financial prizes for the women’s championship is more than 3.6 million dollars, as the winner of the individual title receives 597 thousand dollars and 1000 rating points.
The League emphasized that one of the most prominent participants in this fourth -ranked version in the world Yasmine Paulini, which returns to Dubai to defend its first title in the WTA 1000 tournaments, which contributed to entering the list of the five best players globally, in addition to reaching the final in the major championships Roland Garros and Wimbldon.
Paulini was the second Italian player to win the single women in Dubai after Sarah Iran, the 2016 version.
The championship also witnesses the participation of the first three works in the world Arena Sabalinka, Aga Chiffak and Coco Goff, in their endeavor to achieve their first titles in Dubai, where she was the closest to that in 2023, but lost the final against Barbora Kreticova.
