Zamalek appoints Portuguese coach Pisero to succeed Gross

Zamalek appointed the third Egyptian football league standings, Jose Pisero as a coach, to succeed Swiss, the article Christian Gross, according to what was announced on Friday through his accounts on social media.
Zamalek said that “after the nomination and recommendation of the Sports Planning Committee for a number of CVs for the coaches, (decided) to appoint the Portuguese Jose Pesero as technical director of Zamalek for a season and a half,” Zamalek said.
The contract with Pisero comes after the decision to dismiss Gross, who was appointed last December to succeed the other Portuguese Jose Gumish, who moved to the training of the Saudi conquest.
Gross Zamalek led in only 14 games, during which he achieved 9 wins and 3 draws and two defeats.
This will be the second time that Pisero has worked in Egypt after he had previously led Al-Ahly in the 2015-2016 season, specifically between October 2015 and January 2016 before he submitted his resignation and leaves the Portuguese Porto training.
Pesero, 64, previously trained Nacional, Sporting, Braga, Puerto, and Vitoria Guimarah, Portugal, in addition to Greek Banathenicus, Rabid Bucharest, the Saudi Hilal, Al Wahda and Emirati Sharjah, as well as Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Nigeria teams.
The last training tasks of Bisero was to lead the Nigeria national team from 2022 to 2024, and he won the second place in the African Nations Cup 2023, which was held in Ivory Coast after losing in the final match against the owners of the land.
No team or team has been trained since its departure from Nigeria last March.
