Vehicle reservation and lifting procedures
The evidence pointed out that in the absence of restrictions on the vehicle, the process of marking is carried out through the authority specialized in the secretariat or municipalities, by setting a warning notice “poster” on the neglected vehicle, with the determination of the correction deadline for neglected vehicles 20 days starting from the date of the marking of the neglected vehicle, And 14 days for damaged and the broken mechanism.
The evidence stipulated the notification of the competent authority with a text message through the technical linking during the indication that it is necessary to address its situation and raise it from its place before the end of the prescribed period, while the trust does not hold any responsibility towards the security and safety of the vehicle and its components and during the period of marking is under the responsibility of the owner, and he has the full right to dispose of it .
The guide specified the reservation procedures for neglected and damaged vehicles and the idle mechanism, which is to deposit the vehicle at the location designated for the reservation after signing the lifting minutes.
He emphasized the transfer of the vehicle after raising directly to the reservation site and it is strictly prohibited to download it in any other site, taking pictures of it from all sides, and its responsibility is located on the site’s contractor as a result of clouds or reservation.

The guide determined the reservation periods, which include 90 days, starting from the date of raising the vehicle from the site, and that if the violator does not review within 30 days from the date of reservation to receive his vehicle or seized mechanism, and the competent authority is honest or the municipality, the owner of the vehicle, a text message through electronic means after two months From the date of reservation by requesting the review, to receive his vehicle before the deadline ends and take regular measures, and 10 days before the reservation is completed.
The guide showed the procedures for retrieving the vehicle with a request for the secretariat before the end of the specified reservation period, provided that the identity and ownership of the vehicle is proven to the owner of the vehicle, and the competent authority in coordination with the contractor to ensure that the vehicle is in the reservation site, then end all the claim procedures, and to ensure that there is no security claim On it, fulfill the value of the violation, the costs of withdrawal and reservation.
He stressed that the ownership of the vehicle will fall if the owner does not want to retrieve it within 90 days, and the owner handed over the vehicle’s plates and a letter to the General Administration of Traffic by requesting the projection of ownership, with a written concession and paying the value of the violation.
