Eid al-Fitr in the Emirates/continuous joy and vibrant events and activities

Abu Dhabi, 18 March / WAM / The UAE welcomes Eid Al Fitr with a festive atmosphere that includes artistic performances and festivals, and family events in public places, shopping centers and entertainment destinations, which were decorated in preparation for the occasion with lights and geometric designs that carried expressions of congratulations to the country’s residents and guests.

Shopping centers in the country witnessed active activity and noticeable crowding with the approach of Eid al-Fitr, as shoppers were keen to purchase Eid supplies, including clothes, sweets and gifts. Seasonal offers and discounts played a prominent role in enhancing this movement and making shopping an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all family members.

The Eid al-Fitr holiday, which runs from March 19 to 22, is an ideal opportunity to visit tourist and entertainment attractions and major shopping centers and hotels in the country, which have prepared special programs and activities for the occasion.

In Abu Dhabi, the public will be treated to a variety of artistic and entertainment events targeting children and families, most notably the Sheikh Zayed Festival in the Al Wathba area, which has continued to shine since the first of last November through more than four thousand cultural events and 750 major public events, with the participation of more than 20 thousand exhibitors and participants from inside and outside the country.

The activities of the second session of the “Gateh Al Ain” festival will also begin in Al Ain for eight days, from 20 to 27 March 2026, in the outer area of ​​the ADNEC Al Ain Center.

The festival celebrates the spirit of Eid al-Fitr through its program full of live performances, entertainment activities suitable for all ages, cultural events and games areas, in addition to a main theater that hosts live performing arts and heritage shows.

Abu Dhabi is full of tourist and cultural attractions that represent ideal options for families during Eid, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Al Maqta Fort, Heritage Village, and the Saadiyat Cultural District, in addition to the entertainment facilities on Yas Island and the major shopping centers spread throughout the emirate.

For its part, Dubai continues to consolidate its position as a vibrant destination, as the city prepares to celebrate Eid Al Fitr in an atmosphere full of joy and cheer, through various events, offers and experiences that suit all family members.

Shopping centers will provide distinguished shopping experiences with special discounts on the occasion, while hotels will offer special accommodation packages for families, to complete the Eid experience with fun, comfort and beautiful memories.

The “Walfa Season” activities continue until March 23 in multiple locations in the city, and Expo City Dubai will host Eid al-Fitr celebrations in various parts of the city from March 20 to 22.

In Sharjah, the activities of the “Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2026” will continue during Eid Al Fitr, as visitors will have an exceptional experience that combines marketing momentum and heritage depth with the participation of shopping centers, retail stores, and a large number of international and local brands, productive families, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.

Sharjah stands out as an ideal choice for those looking for a combination of entertainment, nature, culture, and shopping, as there are many options available, including the beaches of Khor Fakkan and its Roman-style amphitheater, the drag lounge, Al Heera Beach, the Arabian Peninsula Animal Center, the “Aljada” destination, Al Majaz Waterfront, and Al Montazah Gardens, in addition to “Al Qasba,” which is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the emirate in terms of the diversity of entertainment and service facilities.

In turn, the Emirate of Ajman includes many prominent tourist places that satisfy the city’s tourists’ passion for exploring its culture and enjoying the beauty of its historical landmarks, including the Ajman Museum, which dates back to the 18th century AD, and includes several sections, including those specializing in antiquities and manuscripts, a section on popular costumes, a section for souvenirs, and other sections.
