Khaled Abdul Rahman Al -Majid was appointed as the CEO of Edama

Today, Edama (Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company), the real estate arm of the Bahrain Holding Company (Mumtalakat), announced the sovereign wealth fund for the Kingdom of Bahrain, that Mr. Khaled Abdul Rahman Al -Majid was appointed as CEO of the company as of March 16, 2025.

Khaled Al -Majid has a 20 -year experience in real estate investment and asset management and financing, and he was the vice president of asset management at the main group, and he supervised the implementation and management of many prominent projects in the local and global markets, and he obtained a bachelor’s degree in trade and financing from a university Concordia in Canada, Master of Business Administration from London College of Business Administration in the United Kingdom.

It should be noted that Khaled Al -Majid is characterized by a professional career full of achievements in real estate investments, where he took over the management of leading projects, supervising multidisciplinary business teams and implementing innovative strategies with high efficiency.

This was welcomed by the Adamah Board of Directors, headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, by appointing Khaled Al -Majid, expressing his confidence in his ability to lead the Edama company during the next stage of the march “We build for Bahrain”. The Board of Directors also expressed its great gratitude to former CEO Mr. Christopher Calvert for his efforts and contributions during his administration.

On this occasion, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mamtalakat Company and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Adamah, said, “The vast experience of Khaled Al -Majid in the real estate sector, his strong relations and his deep understanding of the driving factors for the real estate market qualify him to lead the Edama company in the next stage of its growth.”

For his part, Khaled Abdel -Rahman Al -Majid said, “I am honored to take over the position of CEO of Edama and I look forward to working closely with the board of directors and the work team to expand the contribution of Edama to the national economy and support the sustainable growth of the real estate market in the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
