The campus of His Highness the Crown Prince, Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah Bint Mashhour bin Abdulaziz, announced the launch of the Misk Museum of Heritage Museum, which is scheduled to be opened within the coming years in the Diriyah region – one of the most important heritage areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia -. On the occasion of the launch of the museum; Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah Bint Mashhour bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aseed Museum, said: “We seek to build a generation that cherishes its heritage and works to marry and revive it, through the museum that contains everything that indicates the legacy and civilization of the Kingdom of artifacts, customs and societal values, So that the museum is in line with the goals of the inherited sustainability in the Kingdom and its enrichment in line with the Saudi identity, to reflect the past and the present and continue to serve future generations.
The Ayan Museum extends over an area of ​​40,000 square meters, and it is characterized by an innovative design prepared by Zaha Hadid Company, which is inspired by the Urban Najdi nature; To reflect the heritage and architectural identity of the Kingdom, and upon its opening, the museum will display thousands of pieces and heritage holdings that tell live stories from the past, and highlight many aspects and lifestyles that Saudi generations have experienced throughout the ages, and the museum also seeks to cooperate with the agencies affiliated Global expertise and activating partnerships, in a manner that ensures the integration of efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a leading country that invests in its civilized heritage.
