Ajman hosts the Asian Bodybuilding and Physical Championship 2025

Ajman, June 14/ WAM/ Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council and attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Department of Tourism Development, the activities of the fifty -eighth edition of the Asian Championship for Body Building and Physical Fitness, which is hosted by the Emirate of Ajman for the first time, will start tomorrow with the participation of 23 Asian countries, and will continue until June 17 in the Emirates Hospitality Center In Ajman.

The Department of Tourism Development in Ajman is organizing the official opening ceremony of the tournament tomorrow morning, in the presence of a number of dignitaries, officials and representatives of local and Asian sports federations, along with the media and the public.

The ceremony will witness the first appearance of the tournament logo and its official “Mayid” after its recent launch during the Arab Travel Market Exhibition, in addition to cultural paragraphs that reflect the Emirati heritage and highlight the civilizational identity of the emirate.

This prestigious championship represents a qualitative opportunity to review Ajman’s organizational capabilities and promote its tourism and cultural ingredients, as well as close cooperation between all concerned parties, especially the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman, the International Federation for Fitness and Bodybuilding and the UAE Federation for Body Building and Physical Fitness, which is consistent with the ambitious vision of the rational leadership in providing an ideal model in hosting international championships and enhancing Ajman’s leading position On the global tourism map.

The organization of this tournament is a joint station within the comprehensive emirate’s strategy to enhance the integration between sport and tourism, and highlighting the development of its tourism and logistical infrastructure, which contributes to supporting the local economy and stimulating the tourism and hospitality sector.

It is noteworthy that the event will be accompanied by the organization of a set of activities and cultural offers, in addition to a review of investment opportunities in the hospitality and services sectors, in line with the national goals of supporting and encouraging the sustainable economy and achieving comprehensive sustainable development goals.
