The high prices of iron in Saudi Arabia, except for one category within a month

Iron prices in Saudi Arabia increased during the month of January, on a monthly basis, with the exception of one category, while prices and wood differed, while electric prices witnessed an increase.
The average bulletin of the prices of goods and services issued by the Statistics Authority showed that the price of reinforcing steel (6 mm) decreased by 2.1% to 3899.48 riyals.

The price of iron in Saudi Arabia

The price of reinforcing steel (8 mm) recorded 2785.53 riyals, raising a slight rate of 0.01% on a monthly basis last January.
The price of reinforcing iron (10 mm) was 2829.87 riyals, up 0.1% on a monthly basis last January.
The price of reinforcing iron (12 mm) increased by 1.1% to 2803.26 riyals, while the price of reinforcing iron (14 mm) increased by the same percentage to 2803.75 riyals per ton.
The price of reinforcing steel (16 mm) increased by 1.1% to 2804.56 riyals, while the price of (18 mm) increased by 1.2% to 2804.53 riyals per ton.
The price of Chinese iron binding cable decreased by 0.7% on a monthly basis last January, recording 49.75 riyals for (10 kg).

Electrical wire prices

The price of electrical wires (2.5 mm) increased by 2.5% to 1.24 riyals per meter, while the price of (4 mm) increased by 1.2% to 1.76 riyals.

The price of electrical wires (6 mm) recorded 2.76 riyals per meter, up by 1.1%.
The price of electric cables (10 mm) decreased by 1.1% to 21.81 riyals, while the price of (25 mm) decreased by 0.5% to 47.7 riyals per meter.
The price of electric cables (35 mm) increased by a slight rate of 0.02% on a monthly basis, recording 62.81 riyals per meter.
The electric cable price (50 mm) decreased by 0.6% to 88.09 riyals, while the price of (70 mm) decreased by 1.3% to 126.39 riyals.
The price of electric cables (95 mm) increased by 0.8% to 176.27 riyals, while the price of (120 mm) and (300 mm) decreased by 0.5%, to 221.96 riyals, and 539.1 riyals, respectively.
Aluminum price was 88.65 riyals, up 1% on a monthly basis last January.

Wood price

The price of Chilean and Roman wood decreased by 2.3%, and 0.6% on a monthly basis, reaching 1514.78 riyals, and 1477.69 riyals, respectively.

The price of African tiki wood increased by 0.3% to 6201.32 riyals, while the price of Indonesian lablacash wood fell 0.8% to 3145.81 riyals per cubic meter.
The coal price increased by 0.9% on a monthly basis last January, recording 10.63 riyals per kilo.
