The Balance Council supports the efforts of technological transformation in the National Maritime Fight

Abu Dhabi, February 17/ WAM/ The Balance Council revealed the start of the implementation of its strategic plan for the transfer of technology and knowledge in the National Maritime Fighting Management System, as part of the strategic partnership agreement signed under the umbrella of the economic balance program with the “Naval Group” Group and the “Market Technology” company.
These efforts come within the framework of the strategic plans of the Balance Council with the aim of strengthening national capabilities in the marine defense industries sector and enabling Emirati cadres to develop and operate advanced systems.
Under the agreement, a number of Emirati engineers joined last December with a program of training and joint development aimed at providing them with advanced experiences in the field of developing system software. The training is held at the Excellence Center for the Martal Management Management System of the “Naval” group in the French city of Oliol. The training program continues for a period of two years, provided that the second phase in the UAE is to enable engineers to achieve complete independence in operating and developing the system.
As part of its participation in the “IDEX 2025” exhibition, the Balance Council reviews the latest version of the CMS system, which was chosen “Naval” to develop and provide the UAE navy in the framework of the economic balance program.
This system is an essential pillar to enhance the operational capabilities of high -density maritime tasks, providing advanced solutions to collect and analyze data and coordinate combat systems efficiently. It also depends on the technique of (Setis) installed on the “Bani Yas” boat, in addition to using it on the pieces of the French Navy and a number of international fleets.
In this regard, Dr. Nasser Hamid Al -Nuaimi, Secretary -General of the Balance Council, said, “This strategic cooperation comes to represent a qualitative step towards technology transfer and localization of knowledge, in line with the UAE’s vision in promoting technical independence and developing the advanced defense industries sector.
He added: “Cooperation with” Naval “and” Technologies “is a practical model for our strategic partnerships with the sector’s pioneers, as we focus on building capabilities capable of designing and developing advanced national solutions according to the highest international standards.”
He stressed that enabling national competencies in the advanced technical fields is one of the pillars of building a sustainable industrial future, which is achieved through this program, and working to provide an integrated environment that allows Emirati engineers to gain practical experiences, which ensures their ability to develop and operate advanced systems that enhance the defensive readiness of the UAE, It supports its leading position in the industrial innovation field for the defense and security sector.
For his part, Majid Saif Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Economic Balance Program in the Balance Council, indicated that the start of the implementation of the technology transfer program in the national marine fighting management system reflects the council’s efforts in stimulating strategic partnerships, localizing advanced technologies, and enabling competencies to acquire specialized practical experiences.

He stressed that these partnerships contribute to the development of an integrated national industrial system based on innovation and knowledge, and enhances building a national industrial base capable of competing globally, adding that the council is working to enhance the role of the economic balance program through similar development projects.

For his part, Basil Shehbar, CEO of Market Technologies, stressed that technology boats are proud of their partnership with the Balance Council and the French Naval Group in this pioneering project to develop the first national system of fighting in the United Arab Emirates.

He explained that this unique program enhances local capabilities with global standards, which serves Emirati fleets and enhances the state’s position as a prominent force in the defense sector at the global level.
