The IMF is studying the possibility of supporting countries affected by the Iran war

Bloomberg News reported, citing informed sources, that the International Monetary Fund is conducting analytical studies on countries to assess the economies that may need additional financing if the war with Iran continues.

The report stated that the IMF asked its offices in various countries to share analyzes in areas ranging from the status of the balance of current transactions to potential financing needs, adding that the evaluation focuses on countries that have active financing programs with the Fund.
