The high prices of flour in Saudi Arabia within a month … and the variation of “rice”

The prices of local flour in Saudi Arabia increased during the month of January, on a monthly basis, while prices varied.
The average price bulletin and services issued by the Statistics Authority showed that the price of the local brown flour increased by 1.6%, on a monthly basis, recording 3.18 riyals per kilo.
According to the bulletin, the price of white local flour increased by 2.5% on a monthly basis last January, recording 4.86 riyals per kilo.

Rice prices
The bulletin reported that the price of basmati rice increased by 0.3% in January, on a monthly basis, recording 97.9 riyals for (10 kg).
The price of Indian rice decreased by 0.1%, on a monthly basis, recording 82.62 riyals for (10 kg) in January 2025.
The price of the sweet corn was 6.1 riyals, low 0.9%, while the price of Shairiya stabilized at 5.8 riyals.
The price of the pasta decreased by 0.2% to 5.94 riyals for (500 g), and the price of soup with oats decreased 0.8% to 10.08 riyals.
The price of straight white bread (4 loaves) decreased by 0.9% in January, on a monthly basis, recording 1.08 riyals.
