The meeting, which was held under the title “The Argentine Day”, stressed the importance of strengthening trade and investment cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina, especially in this vital sector.

The meeting, which was held at the Chamber’s headquarters, was attended by His Excellency Youssef Ismail, Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Saud bin Saqr Foundation for the Development of Youth Projects, First Vice President of the Chamber, Dr. Ahmed Al -Shamili, the Acting General Director of the Chamber, and His Excellency Jorge Augustin Arambari Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the State, Head of the Argentine commercial delegation, Which included trade and production ministers and heads of trade rooms, along with a number of government figures, entrepreneurs and companies in the emirate and their counterparts in a number of Argentine governorates in the food sector, and representatives of all the departments of the Chamber.

The Argentine delegation has been acquainted with many opportunities available in Ras Al Khaimah, and they praised the size of the available commercial opportunities, which could attract many foreign investments to the emirate.

The two sides stressed the importance of continuing meetings between companies and those concerned on both sides, with the aim of developing partnerships and enhancing cooperation in the food sector.

In his opening speech to the meeting, Youssef Ismail pointed out to the depth of the UAE -Argentine relations based on a long history of fruitful work and joint coordination, especially since Argentina is considered an important commercial and investment partner for the UAE in the Latin American region, expressing his aspiration to the concerted joint efforts during the coming period, To go with bilateral economic relations towards optimal levels of trade exchanges, investment flows between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina, and in a way that elevates them to levels that meet aspirations and capabilities on the largest scale.

He affirmed the UAE’s keenness to provide appropriate legal systems and legislation to create the appropriate climate for business and stimulate investment opportunities and commercial exchange, which resulted in the forefront of the state for many global economic indicators, until the world has become the best in the world to establish and start business, pointing to the keenness of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber To intensify its efforts to facilitate the business of Argentine investors along the economic system in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in partnership with the relevant authorities, as well as exploring the available ways to provide the best opportunities for companies from the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina alike.
