"Emeraj" And the industrial balance complex cooperates to develop a solar solar power station

Abu Dhabi, February 19/ WAM/ Emeraj, the joint company between Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company “Source” and the “EV” group, signed an agreement to develop a solar PV station with a capacity of 13.25 MW, in the Industrial Balance Complex.

The signature was attended by Aurelian Delhi, Executive Vice President of “EDF” in the Middle East, and Ali Al -Shammari, Head of the Strategic and Private Projects Department at Masdar Company, on the sidelines of the activities and conference of the International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2025” in Abu Dhabi.

The agreement was signed, Eng. Fayez Al -Nahdi, CEO of the Tawazen Industrial Complex, and Michel Abi Saab, General Manager of Emeraj.

The agreement provides for the development of a project for solar photovoltaic energy distributed between a 11.5 -megawatled panels installed on the ground and another installed on the surface of car parks with a capacity of 1.75 MW, which contributes to avoiding the emission of 14.064 tons of carbon dioxide annually, which is equivalent to avoiding more than 25% of Current emissions of the Industrial Balance Complex, and from The station is scheduled to start in late 2025.

Engineer Fayez Al -Nahdi, CEO of the Tawazen Industrial Complex, said that the agreement with the Emeraj company represents a strategic step towards adopting clean energy solutions and enhancing the leadership of the complex as an advanced platform that accompanies the aspirations of sustainability in the industrial sector.

He stressed that this cooperation embodies the commitment of the established complex to reduce the environmental impact and build a sophisticated industrial system based on sustainability.

He pointed out that the use of renewable energy sources is no longer just a choice, but rather has become a strategic necessity to enhance the competitiveness of the complex and companies operating in it, explaining that this initiative is consistent with the directions of the UAE, foremost of which is the strategy of climate neutrality 2050, and confirms the role of the active complex in supporting sustainable growth and stimulating innovation In vital sectors.

For his part, Michelle Abi Saab said that this important project enhances the role of “Emeraj” as a company for energy services that works to provide leading solutions that support companies ’goals in removing carbon and its endeavors to build a sustainable future without prior costs.

He expressed his company aspiring to contribute to supporting the Ikels of Industrial Complex to achieve its goals in the field of sustainability, pointing out that “Emeraj” will undertake the development and operation of the project in full, according to the Convention, ownership, operation and transfer of ownership, including financing, design, supply, construction, operation, and maintenance of the solar energy station for a period 25 years old.
