The President of the State confirms the position of the Emirates rejecting the displacement of the Palestinian people from its land

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today, Marco Rubio, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United States of America, who is visiting the state.

His Highness discussed with the US Secretary of State, the relations of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields in order to achieve their mutual interests.

The meeting also touched on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, and developments in the Middle East region, especially developments in the occupied Palestinian territory, the endeavors towards the crisis in the Gaza Strip and its implications for peace, stability and regional security.

In this context, His Highness the President of the State stressed the constant position of the UAE rejecting any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land .. Stressing His Highness the need for the reconstruction of Gaza to be related to a path that leads to a comprehensive and permanent peace that is based on a “two -state solution” as the way to achieve Stability in the region

His Highness stressed the importance of working to avoid expanding the conflict in the region in a way that threatens regional peace.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the National Security Adviser, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Special Affairs, And Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President United States.
