Al -Diriyah celebrates the “Foundation Day” for this year under the slogan “Shepherd of the First” in celebration of the march of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, the founder of the first Saudi state, the first to laid the foundations of the urban state, and established a beacon of science in Diriyah; To be a source of science and knowledge, and watered the seed of goodness to rise up in the fields of agriculture and commercial exchange, and secure the convoys of pilgrims, crowned with the construction of the wall of Diriyah, which made it safe and fortified.
Al -Diriyah launched a calendar from the exceptional events and experiences of the visitors of Diriyah, where visitors live a unique experience that evokes the fragrant past and celebrates the originality of the present, and allows them to see the history of the first Saudi state, and to foresee the future for its vibrant projects.

Heritage activities

The activities were launched from Maltal Al -Bajiri, where visitors were received with the well -known Daraaiya, through Saudi coffee and dates in an atmosphere that reflects the traditions of grandparents and the customs of the authentic Saudi generosity, and an expression of pride in the national identity, the Al -Ardah and Al -Samari teams organize a number of interactive shows to revive folklore folklore in an enthusiastic atmosphere among visitors And throughout the day.

Various activities

A group of Diriyah families participated in the “community feast” event in Al -Zawahra, where families offer traditional dishes to visitors, in an interactive atmosphere that decorated with aesthetic lights and decorations to celebrate this occasion.
