Implement Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Caucus, represented by the Executive Administration for Nursing Affairs, launched a qualitative initiative entitled "In their language" Which emerges as a major part of an initiative "Rufaida" The strategy during the Hajj season 1447 AH, and this step came with the aim of building bridges of effective and direct health communication with the guests of God of different nationalities and cultures, by providing awareness messages and directions in their mother tongues through the arms of multinational nursing cadres.
The initiative was linked to clear objectives to raise the level of public health awareness among pilgrims, and facilitate the smooth flow of awareness messages and preventive instructions in a manner that is completely appropriate. With the wide cultural and linguistic diversity in Hajj, which has significantly contributed to enhancing the safety of the pilgrims and improving their health experience throughout the period of performing the rituals.
The initiative has witnessed remarkable field success; 827 pilgrims benefited from it, and the nursing teams succeeded in delivering health awareness to them in several international languages, which helped deepen the beneficiaries’ understanding of the medical contents, and bring preventive information closer to their minds in a way characterized by effectiveness and direct humanitarian impact.
Ultimate Nursing Readiness
The initiative comes "In their language" To translate the leadership and field role of the Executive Administration of Nursing Affairs in managing maximum nursing readiness during the season, relying on an integrated supervisory and field model that supports the quality of health care and patient safety, and raises the efficiency of the nursing staff’s response in all service provision sites in the Holy Sites and the Holy Capital.
The Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Assembly confirmed that this humanitarian work reflects its firm commitment to providing health services that are primarily centered around the beneficiary, and ensure effective communication with pilgrims of all languages, In direct line with the objectives of the health sector transformation program aimed at providing more efficient and quality services.
It is noteworthy that the initiative "Rufaida" The mother achieved record operational numbers and high performance indicators during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, which included verifying 17,088 general qualifications that supported the readiness of nursing staff, in addition to recording attendance of more than 26 thousand participants in specialized training lectures, and implementing more than 100 hours of intensive field work covering the follow-up of 87 nursing departments, which strongly enhanced the operational efficiency and medical services of Al-Rahman’s delegations.
