Tokyo on February 24/ WAM/ The deficit in the digital trade balance in Japan increased to a record level, amounting to 6.46 trillion yen “$ 43 billion” in 2024, according to the Japanese Finance Ministry.
In a report, the ministry confirmed that this standard height is the result of the services provided by giant technology companies in the United States, noting that the size of the deficit in information technology in Japan has doubled more than three times in the past decade of 2.02 trillion yen in 2014.
The report attributed the digital trade deficit to the increasingly adopting Japanese companies to the digital technologies provided by the giant American technology companies to improve efficiency due to the lack of local alternatives.
