The Ministry of Education confirmed its adoption of modern technologies in the field of educational supervision, which comes within the Ministry’s strategy to develop the educational process, improve the performance of educational supervisors, and provide optimal support to teachers.

The Ministry has adopted a package of new controls that are the educational supervision of an essential pillar in the development of education.
These controls aim to enable supervisors to support teachers and direct them efficiently and effectively towards achieving the desired educational goals. It seeks to raise the professional competence of educational supervisors, and provide them with the tools and skills necessary to provide distinguished support for teachers, which reflects positively on education outcomes.

The most important new controls

According to the new controls, the educational supervisor will be asked to achieve a set of goals set during each semester.
These goals include preparing a comprehensive quarterly work plan for the school that is in line with the general goals of the ministry and takes into account the needs of the private school, in addition to conducting procedural research aimed at identifying problems and challenges in the field of teaching and proposing practical and innovative solutions to improve it.
The tasks also include assisting teachers in preparing effective quarterly plans that focus on good planning for teaching and diversifying its methods and strategies, and providing periodic reports to teachers that include constructive feedback aimed at improving their performance and developing their teaching practices.

The role of the educational supervisor

The role of the educational supervisor includes following up the implementation of various school activities and ensuring that they achieve the desired educational goals, and to benefit from the results of evaluating students ’performance in determining the strengths and weaknesses in the educational process and employing these results in improving teaching and learning and enhancing the positive behavior of students towards education.
