"Abu Dhabi Civil Defense" Release "Safety patrol"

Abu Dhabi, June 14 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority inaugurated the “Safety patrol” initiative, as a field project aimed at enhancing societal awareness, and upgrading the readiness of individuals and institutions in the face of risks and emergency, in line with the goals of the general community.

His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al -Muhairi, Commander -in -Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, affirmed that the “Safety Journal” embodies an effective model of integration between field awareness and preventive work, indicating that the initiative is consistent with the vision of the Abu Dhabi government in building a safe and aware society capable of facing challenges, by enhancing the culture of prevention, pre -emptive work and direct field communication, which contributes to raising the level of safety. And the quality of life in the emirate.

For his part, His Excellency Brigadier Salem Abdullah bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, said that the initiative enhances the authority’s approach to transforming preventive awareness into societal culture and daily behavior, indicating that safety is a common national responsibility, and the safety patrol represents a practical message to consolidate this concept, through direct training, preventive evaluation and positive motivation, which contributes to protecting lives and property.

He added that the initiative enhances direct societal interaction, and enables individuals to adopt sustainable preventive behaviors.

Lt. Col. Dr. Hamdan Hassan Bin Theban, Director of the “Safety Patrol” project, explained that the initiative focuses on implementing field visits that include industrial, commercial and residential facilities, in addition to residential neighborhoods in various regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the aim of spreading awareness, evaluating the readiness of the sites, and providing preventive consultations without imposing any penalties, stressing that these tours include awareness sessions and guidelines that contribute to contributing to Raising the efficiency of individuals and institutions in applying safety requirements.

He emphasized that the “safety patrol” is integrating with a system of incentive incentives that promote commitment, the most prominent of which is the “safety certificate” granted to the authorities and individuals committed to prevention standards, and the “observation card” that is used to direct informal alerts, along with the “safety voucher” that allows beneficiaries to obtain special discounts on safety equipment such as smoke detectors such as smoke detectors And fire extinguishers.

The launch of this initiative comes as a translation of the Abu Dhabi government’s vision in enhancing the quality of life and community safety, through effective institutional partnerships that contribute to building a more awareness and preparedness society with a spirit of responsibility and solidarity between its members and its institutions.
