Ammar bin Hamid: Civil Defense is an essential pillar to enhance the security and safety of society

Ajman, February 25 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, stressed that the civil defense is a basic pillar in enhancing the security and safety of society, praising the vital role of civil defense men in protecting lives and property, and addressing emergency and risks efficiently.
This came during the presence of His Highness today, the General Administration of Civil Defense in Ajman on the occasion of the International Day of Civil Defense, which was held at Ajman University under the slogan “Civil Defense and Community Safety”, in conjunction with the “Year of Society”, in confirmation of the role of civil defense in providing a safe environment And sustainable.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi said that this celebration reflects the deep appreciation of the efforts of civil defense in enhancing security and stability, as the safety of society is a top priority, which appears in the ongoing efforts to keep pace with modern developments and the immediate response to emergency.
His Highness added that the achievements achieved in the civil defense sector came thanks to the wise vision of the wise leadership, which made security and safety at the top of its priorities, and harnessed all the capabilities to enhance the speed of response and protect lives and property.
His Highness praised the heroic role of the civil defense men, appreciating their dedication to facing the risks and the sacrifices they make, stressing that the civil defense in Ajman has proven its efficiency thanks to the trained national cadres and advanced technologies that enhance the speed of response to accidents.
During the ceremony, His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman honored a number of leaders who contributed to the development of civil defense, among them: the name of the retired brigade, the late Ali Majid Al -Matroushi, in appreciation of his efforts in localizing the extinguishing profession and qualifying national cadres, and the name of the retired Colonel, Abdullah Ahmed Al -Falasi, for his contributions In updating management and developing security and safety systems, and honoring retired Major General Saleh Saeed Al Matroushi, who contributed In achieving qualitative achievements, obtaining the institutions of institutional leadership and establishing advanced centers for extinguishing and rescue, His Highness also honored the ceremonies and supportive parties, and distinguished from firefighters in the emirate.
His Highness loses a number of modern and innovative firefighting and innovative intervention vehicles that are used in firefighting, rescue and activities.
For his part, His Excellency Brigadier General Raed Obaid Al -Zaabi, Director General of the General Administration of Civil Defense in Ajman, stressed that the rational leadership attaches great attention to developing and enhancing the capabilities of civil defense, which contributed to accelerating the response to accidents and enhancing performance efficiency according to the highest international standards.
He pointed to the continued efforts of the administration to consolidate the culture of prevention and safety through awareness campaigns, training programs, and investing in modern technologies to ensure a safe and sustainable environment and reduce fires.
Al -Zaabi stressed that the civil defense in Ajman will continue to work according to the directives of the rational leadership and integrate with government institutions to achieve the highest safety standards, and to enhance readiness to confront any future challenges, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of security and stability in the emirate of Ajman and the UAE.
