Dialogue sessions discuss the halal industry on the first days of the Mecca Forum

Under the Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al -Qasabi, the activities of the second edition of the Makkah Al -Halal Forum 2025, which is held under the slogan “Sustainable Development through Halal”, started from February 25 to 27, 2025 at the Makkah Al -Mukarramah and Events Chamber Center, with a joint organization between the benefits and company Islamic Chamber of Halal Services.
It aims to enhance the position of Mecca as a global center for the Halal Industry, and the leaders of industry, investors, international experts, and organizational bodies bring together to discuss the most prominent future trends of the sector and explore the commercial and investment opportunities available in the global halal market.

Makkah Forum for Halal

Through the event, the forum seeks to present a comprehensive platform to interact with the latest innovations in this sector, in addition to discussing the challenges and solutions facing.
The activities of the forum this year include a variety of activities, including specialized dialogue sessions that focus on the most important issues facing the halal industry, and interactive workshops that will provide participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge.

There will also be international exhibitions that offer the latest products and halal services from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries. Among the most prominent events, the living cooking offers that will be presented by global chefs, allowing participants to interact with the finest halal cooking techniques.

Halal sector

Within the framework of strengthening international cooperation in the field of halal, the forum will witness the signing of several partnership agreements, most notably a cooperation agreement between the Halal Products Development Company and the Somali Authority for Standards and Metrology, in addition to a cooperation agreement with the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with the aim of promoting trade in the Halal sector.
The forum is an important opportunity to enhance cooperation between different sectors, through pre -arranged commercial meetings, allowing participants to increase their network of relationships, and gives them the opportunity to meet senior manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world.
The workshops designated will also contribute to promoting marketing and brands for halal business, which reflects the forum’s interest in promoting innovation and its support within this promising industry.
