The Board of Directors of Al -Masar Sports Foundation headed by His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister – may God protect him – announced the completion of the first phase of the Al -Masar Sports Project and the opening of five destinations.
The first phase of the Sports Path Project includes five various destinations, which are Wadi Hanifa, the direction of the bromine, the part at the intersection of Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road with Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz I road, the inner path of Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, and the first stage of the Sand Sports Park, Thus, the sum of the lengths of the project until then becomes more than 87 km.
The “Sports Path” project is one of the major projects of the city of Riyadh, which was launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud -may God support it -on 12 Rajab 1440 AH corresponding to March 19, 2019 AD, and it is followed by the follow -up and interest from His Highness the Crown Prince -may God protect him -.

The project works to enhance the position of the city of Riyadh in the world rankings, to become one of the best cities suitable for living in the world, and in a way that contributes to achieving one of the most prominent targets of Saudi Vision 2030, through promoting physical, psychological and social health, and building a society that enjoys its members with a decent life and a healthy and surrounding lifestyle It provides an attractive positive environment for the residents of Riyadh and its visitors.
The sports track project was designed and implemented with the best international standards in line with the sporting path code derived from the principles of peaceful architecture, as the project is one of the largest urban renewal projects.
The sporting path is scheduled to become the largest longitudinal park in the world, as it will link the city of Riyadh from west to east through bicycle paths with a length of 220 km, and pedestrian paths with a length of more than 135 km, and will include more than 50 sites for various sports, and more than 3 million meters A box of distinctive investment areas.

Hanifa Valley destination

The destination of Wadi Hanifa is located in the west of the city of Riyadh, and it extends 13.5 km, starting from the Al -Alab Dam to the north to Jeddah Road in the south, through the Diriyah Gate project, and includes paths for pedestrians, bikes and horses, as well as a number of wooded areas and stops for the bikes.
While the destination of the bromide is located on the Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz road, between King Khalid Road and Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz I road, and it is characterized by a bicycle bridge, one of the distinctive facilities for the project, and it contains two independent tracks, one of which is dedicated to pedestrians with a length of 1 km, and another for bicycle with a length of 771 meters .
The bridge aims to enhance safe and sustainable movement, enabling visitors to move safely and facilitated from Diriyah to the various directions of the Sports Path Project.

Al -Rammal Sports Park destination

The destination of the Sand Sports Park is one of the distinctive destinations of the project with a length of 41 km, and is located in the southeast of King Khalid International Airport, and is characterized by the presence of bicycle paths for professionals and amateurs and paths for mountain bikes, in addition to horse tracks, and mountain paths for walking and bicycles.
The Sand Sports Park mediates the Najdi Rose, which forms bicycle paths for professionals, as the rose is formed between the sand dunes of the destination.
The internal bicycle path at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University is the fifth destination and the first stage of the sports track project, as it is located inside the university campus roads with a length of more than 30 km, and includes a path for bicycles, and a 19 -km pedestrian path.

Arts Tower in Riyadh

The first phase of the Sports Path Project includes a prominent technical teacher known as the Arts Tower, as it is located at the intersection of Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road with Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz I road.
The Arts Tower is an artwork that is inspired by the high -pressure electricity towers that were extending the road to Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as it is adorned with colored geometric panels that penetrate the sun’s rays to form a wonderful artistic reflection and a prominent teacher for the project visitors on Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road.

Entry to the first stage destinations is available for 24 hours during all days of the week and for free and does not require free tickets, except for some activities and activities held within the path, where each event will be announced at the time, and the reservation mechanism is clarified through the ticket reservations platform approved by the sports track.
The construction work of the rest of the project continues, such as the remaining stage after the bromine destination, the destination of the valley, the King Abdulaziz Road tunnel, and the Abu Bakr Al -Siddiq Road tunnel according to the approved plan for the implementation of the project.
