Zayed Sports Junior Championship starts tomorrow, Sunday
Abu Dhabi, February 28/ WAM/ will start tomorrow, Sunday, from the “legacy” of Abu Dhabi, Zayed Sports Championship for Junior 2025, which will be held in cooperation and partnership with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, during the period from 2 to 16 March, and a group of emerging sports talents in the Emirates.
The Zayed Sports Championship is a firm tradition in the Emirati sports scene, since its inception in 1997, as it attracted 42,453 athletes, 69,620 visitors, and 716 teams, and its total prizes reached 28,945,700 dirhams.
This year’s version, which is held in the “Heritage” of Abu Dhabi, will witness enthusiastic competitions in football (under 10 and 12 years), and in jujitsu, chess, gymnastics, and swimming, with a total prizes of 104,600 dirhams, which will be distributed to the winners.
“This tournament is not just a competition, but rather a celebration of the team’s spirit, dedication and values that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan”, may God rest his soul, “said, and we look at receiving young talents and their families in an unforgettable sporting experience.”
He added, the Zayed Sports Championship for Junior 2025 will be an ideal opportunity to enhance family and societal ties, as it will give an inspiring atmosphere of friendly challenge and common passion for sports in the year of society.
