Fitness certificates for the “delivery” delegates in Saudi Arabia

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing for Projects and Public Health in Saudi Arabia, Engineer Hassan Al -Asiri, revealed that the ministry is working to issue health fitness certificates for delegates to deliver applications, to ensure their commitment to sound health rules while dealing with food.

Al -Asiri said in a statement to Al -Ikhbariya channel that the ministry is seeking to bridge the gaps in the food safety system, by ensuring that all workers in the food sector, whether in preparation or delivery, are in good health, and realize the basic rules for safe dealing with food.

He added that the ministry launched a new digital platform for monitoring cases of suspicion of food poisoning, with the aim of reducing the health risks related to this, and stated that this platform was linked to the municipal monitoring platform “Mottaka”, which will contribute to accelerating the supervisory measures against violators, and taking the necessary measures to protect consumers.
