The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat launched the first edition of the “Emirates International Holy Quran Award” from the capital Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness the President of the State in order to ensure his highness to take care of the Book of God at the local and international levels, as it embodies the state’s commitment to promoting citizenship Quranic talents, supporting the keepers and the guarantees, and honoring the distinguished global talents.

The award includes at the beginning of three main branches, the first “International Status Award in the Holy Quran” and has initial and final qualifications according to accurate criteria, where this year 10 male and female contestants, who won the first positions in international competitions, are honored this year.

The second branch, “The first place prize in the Holy Quran”, which focuses on national talents in all emirates of the state, where it includes eight branches that completed all its stages, and resulted in the victory of 86 participants at the state level in the 2024 cycle.

The third branch is the “First International Award for the Holy Quran and honoring a global Quranic figure”, where a prominent Quranic figure or a distinguished Quranic institution honors.
