"Air traffic control forum" It discusses the challenges and innovations of the sector next May

Dubai, March 5/ WAM/ Air traffic monitoring forum in its eighth session, which is supported by the Dubai Air Navigation Services, attracts many international air navigation service providers and experts in this field, to discuss the challenges and innovations of air traffic control.
The forum will be held on the sidelines of the activities of the airports exhibition, which will start with the twenty -fourth session from 6-8 May next at the Dubai World Trade Center under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports, Supreme President of the CEO of the Emirates Airlines and the group.
The exhibition will include communications, navigation and monitoring systems to maintain a safe and effective atmosphere, with high service levels of airports and airlines.
According to a press release issued today, according to the Global Airports Council, it is expected that the movement of aircraft will reach 178.1 million movements by 2042 worldwide, while international passengers will rise to 8.7 billion passengers and the local to 10.6 billion passengers in the same year, which gives the forum more momentum and importance.
The forum will witness discussions between experts and specialists on air traffic monitoring updates and innovations in the Middle East, in which the volume of the aviation market is expected to reach 33.7 billion dollars by 2029, with investments of $ 151 billion in airports infrastructure and $ 2.4 billion in aircraft.
Ibrahim Al -Ahly, CEO of the Dubai Air Navigation Services Foundation, said, “The provider of air navigation services for four airports in the UAE, including Dubai International Airport,” on this occasion, that the leading bodies in the field of air navigation services focus on developing, supporting and achieving the optimal use of the air field, by adopting new systems and technologies, and this is achieved through the capabilities of modern air traffic, pointing to the Foundation’s endeavor to excellence since the 1980s, and continues its efforts to preserve Dubai’s position is a global aviation center with a prosperous ecosystem and unparalleled connection.
In its previous version, the airport exhibition witnessed the participation of more than 120 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, including four who offered their own wings, in addition to more than 120 hosted buyers from more than 35 countries, and more than 3,500 meetings were held within the famous “Business Connect” program.
The exhibition will include several accompanying conferences, which are the World Airports Leaders Forum, the Airport Security Conference in the Middle East, the Air Monitoring Forum, and the Women’s Forum.
The exhibition is supported by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports, the Engineering Projects Projects Corporation in Dubai, Emirates Airlines, and Dubai Air Navigation Services Foundation, and Denata, as well as many other parties.
Mai Ismail, Director of Events at RX, said that the field of air traffic control, like other civil aviation fields, has witnessed huge transformations with the emergence of new technologies and innovations.
She added that the technology -based age enables airports to become vital centers, and there are challenges and growth opportunities caused by manufacturing technologies in air traffic management, and we must explore the best that is now available and what will come in the future and in this regard the airport exhibition serves this stage specialized in the aviation industry.
The air traffic control market faces multiple challenges such as the high costs of spreading systems, the complexity of systems, strict regulatory requirements, and concerns related to data security for air flights.

It is expected that developments in satellite -based navigation, the next generation monitoring systems, and integrating artificial intelligence will enhance efficiency and increase the absorptive capacity in managing the airspace.
From now until 2030, the Middle East will witness the delivery of about 1,058 new aircraft, and the movement of passengers in the region will grow by more than 9% by 2027.
